Petroleum Technician

Pay:

20-25/hr

Description:

We are seeking an apprentice Service Technician to learn how to repair, and service Gas pumping equipment and electronics.

Technicians will learn:

•\tto troubleshoot any & all issues

•\tOrder the correct parts to make the repairs needed

•\tYou will be responsible for your van & its inventory.

•\tService repair work includes:

o\tpumps, tanks, monitors, gauges, and meter readouts. Anything involving petroleum industry products.

Must-Have Qualifications:

•\tMechanical and Electronic aptitude

•\tBasic computer skill

•\tStrong problem-solving skills

•\tStrong communication so you're able to explain in detail to customers the issues and repair

•\tRead work orders and properly complete paperwork promptly

•\tMaintain all certifications and a strong knowledge of all supported equipment

•\tWe will train as needed.

•\tWilling to submit to a driving record 

Shop Location:

Northeast Minneapolis

•\tMonday - Friday 7/8 am start 3/4 pm end...expect 5-10 hours of OT a week.

•\tOn-call rotation working some nights, weekends & holidays. Rotation with other technicians.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $43680.00/yr.

•\tMedical after 90 days
•\t1 week vacation after 90 days
•\t401k after 90 days (10% match)
•\tImmediate paid holidays
