Petroleum Technician - Weekly Pay
**Job Title: Petroleum Technician** **Job Description** The position is for a service and installation technician of petroleum dispensing and related equipment. Work entails installation of new fueling equipment, point of sale equipment, tank and line monitoring equipment, card systems, and other associated items. This position would include the repair and testing of these systems. Individuals will need strong electrical, electronic, computer, and mechanical experience. **Responsibilities** + Install new fueling equipment and point of sale equipment. + Install and maintain tank and line monitoring equipment and card systems. + Repair and test fueling and related equipment. + Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. + Maintain equipment through routine servicing and maintenance. **Essential Skills** + Strong electrical, electronic, computer, and mechanical experience. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment. + Experience in equipment installation and maintenance. + Knowledge of industrial and construction settings. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience on Gilbarco, Red Jacket, and Veeder Root systems is preferred. + Occasional assistance on compressed air systems, pressure washers, and other industrial pump applications. + Ability to lift 75 lbs. + Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. + Clean and valid driver's license. + Personal hand tools required; company provides special tools. **Why Work Here?** Pay is competitive based on experience. Employees must provide their own personal hand tools; the company will provide any special tools needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rapid City, South Dakota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
