Position Specific Description
This position is in support of the Fleet Control Center, the first of its kind in the industry, remotely operating a 23GW clean energy fleet. This position is an integral part of streamlining plant operations with the increased use of DCS automation, while ensuring safe reliable operations of the fleet. This position follows a shift schedule, and will serve in a leadership capacity with operations staff.
The primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting equipment issues in the various control system platforms, process compliance, operational event analysis and communications with our various customers.
Previous experience with power plant operations and control system platforms (Siemens T3000, Emerson Ovation, GE Mark VIe) preferred.
Job OverviewEmployees in this job lead a team of Technicians. Their team is responsible for the assessment, management, and planning of activities to ensure all plant or pipeline equipment is operational and available to support production requirements. Team responsibilities include technical support for daily operations, plant and process improvements, equipment acquisition, plant breakdown and analysis, and recommending corrective actions.
Job Duties & Responsibilities Provides oversight to production teams in the area of daily operations, preventive maintenance, and reliability checks Coaches employees in safe work practices, craft skills, productivity, and training Develops and refines operations procedures, processes, and overhaul start up and shutdown Ensures that all production activities are completed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and consistent with PGD policies, procedures, and practices Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications High School Grad / GED Experience: 5+ years Leadership Experience: 2+ years Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree
