PGIM Private Capital - Treasury Director, Direct Lending

What you will do

The PGIM Private Capital Fund Operations team is seeking a Treasury Director for its Direct Lending product.

The Direct Lending strategy within PPC is responsible for originating, underwriting, and managing a portfolio of privately placed leveraged loans for middle market issuers across the world ($10-100 million of EBITDA).  PPC has recently closed on its second third-party fund, PGIM Senior Loan Opportunities II (PSLO II), bringing the Direct Lending fund strategy to $5.0bn in commitments. The Treasury Director will be expected to play an integral role in continuing to grow the strategy and support new product launches.

The primary responsibilities for this role will include liquidity optimization, debt facility structuring, cash forecasting, FX management, assessing fund eligibility and asset allocations, pre-trade compliance, cash positioning, and ongoing debt compliance for the PSLO Funds, BDC, & CLOs.

What you can expect

Lead the sourcing, negotiation, and execution of multiple middle market direct lending debt facilities including subscription lines, asset-backed lines, unsecured bonds, and CLOsOversee all required reporting with external counterparties, with a focus on monitoring debt covenants, restrictions, and thresholdsThorough understanding of all debt facility and fund agreementsReview pipeline activity, cash positioning, and liquidity forecastingManage foreign currency hedging transactions & reconciliationsAssist Allocations team during peak periodsReview and understand how the changing needs of the business and future growth will impact the Treasury function with respect to people, processes, and technologyCommunicate with internal and external stakeholders Assist the Fund Operations team in periods of peak demand and ad hoc projects

What you will bring

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a treasury, structured products, or finance role either with a private debt or equity firm, or have experience underwriting fund debt facilities at a bankStructured Product knowledge and experience managing leverage, preferably within a BDC in the middle market / direct lending space  Strong Excel modeling & analytical skills. Wall Street Office, Sentry, and/or Allvue (fka Black Mountain) systems experience is a plusAbility to convey sense of urgency and to work productively with both internal and external business partners (Prudential Enterprise, investment professionals, banking partners, etc.)Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced multifaceted environmentStrong organizational skills including the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and adjust priorities as neededSuperior analytical skills, accuracy and careful attention to detail are essentialHigh-energy person who brings positivity, geniality, and optimism to workCritical thinking and problem-solving experience required
