This exciting dual position covering the Oncology portfolio which accelerates the delivery of innovative medicines to patients by driving portfolio strategy and program excellence through insight-based decision-making.
The Pharm Development Program Manager (PDPM) is accountable for providing cross-functional end-to-end guidance towards delivering Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) and Preclinical Sciences and Translational Safety (PSTS) throughout the lifecycle of development programs.
Principal responsibilities:
+ Provide insights into project timelines and resources, proactive risk management, and maximize asset value for small and large molecule development and lifecycle management projects within the Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) and Preclinical Sciences and Translational Safety (PSTS) areas of expertise.
+ Drive strategic decisions, facilitate successful project execution, and achieve key CMC and PSTS deliverables within the CMC team, PSTS team, project management team (PMT), based upon available data, assumptions, scenario development and critical path analysis, and deliver on our Credo.
+ Work closely with functional experts on the CMC and PSTS teams, to translate compound development strategies into end-to-end operational CMC and PSTS plans, scenarios and budgets and risk management approaches, while considering, documenting, and communicating assumptions and opportunities
+ Represent CMC and PSTS in PMTs to contribute to cross-functional planning, budgeting, and risk management, and act as key interface towards finance
+ Provide expert advice on more efficient ways to execute the development plan in line with key decision points and risk mitigation and avoidance activities
+ Participate in continuous improvement and simplification initiatives across the department and Delivery Units to provide project management support in a more efficient and effective manner
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline (master’s degree preferred)
+ Hands-on knowledge of pharmaceutical development as well as CMC and preclinical requirements of small and large molecules are required
+ Stakeholder management, influencing without formal authority, conflict resolution, and clear and transparent communication are required skills and abilities
+ Experience in project management in a matrix organization or process excellence is preferred
+ Experience with clinical development and regulatory affairs is preferred
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) or another project management certification is preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 115000 to 197800.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
