Job Description

We are currently seeking a lab technician responsible for performing cell culture techniques, supporting mammalian cell culture manufacturing processes, operating various process equipment, and documenting daily manufacturing operations in a cGMP environment. The candidate will produce products by setting up, cleaning, performing cell culture, and following aseptic procedures.

ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the aseptic processing of in-house made solutions and all patient processes according to cGMPs.Read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Set up and operate production equipment, such as control rate freezers and orbital shakers.Assist in deviation and CAPA investigations, and compile data/information related to internal investigations as required.Revise approved documents as needed, including SOPs, batch records, and MS forms.Perform routine transactions with the ERP system, including material requisitions and production tracking.Complete GMP documentation, including batch records, logbooks, and forms, according to GDP.Maintain the clean room environment following established procedures to keep it below alert level limits.Essential SkillsCell CultureAseptic OperationsSterile TechniquescGMP KnowledgeGMP DocumentationAdditional Skills & QualificationsAS/BS in a science field (life sciences preferred)2-5 years of GMP experience (can be from industries outside of pharma) or BioWorks certificationExperience with cell culture and aseptic techniques (preferred from industry, but academic experience considered)Cleanroom experience (preferred but not required)1-3 years of prior lab experience (preferred)Experience following SOPs and executing batch recordsWork Environment

The work will be performed in both a lab and office setting. The lab is a level 10k and 100k cleanroom. Responsibilities include sterile gowning and maintaining certification for sterile gowning. Shift options include: Shift 1 - Sun-Tue 7a-6p, Wed 7a-2p; Shift 2 - Wed 11a-6p, Thu-Sat 7a-6p.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00
