Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Janesville, WI
Pay Rate: $25/hour (premium for 3rd shift)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a clean room and radiological environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain production equipment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
* Perform routine maintenance and assist in equipment re-building under the guidance of manufacturing engineers.
* Follow established production records meticulously while using critical thinking to address unexpected challenges.
* Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues, documenting problems encountered and solutions attempted before seeking assistance.
* Collaborate closely with team members to diagnose and resolve production inefficiencies.
* Utilize manipulators and demonstrate dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precision tasks.
* Stand for extended periods (8-10 hours) while managing personal break schedules efficiently.
* Develop expertise in HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) through on-the-job training with our unique, in-house system.

Qualifications & Skills:
* Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude - ability to assemble, connect, and test components.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve production issues.
* Ability to communicate clearly and document troubleshooting efforts effectively.
* Comfortable working in a radiological and clean room environment for long periods.
* Good hand-eye coordination; experience with manipulators is a plus.
* Basic understanding of HPLC principles is a plus, with training provided on our proprietary system.

Preferred Experience:
* Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or equipment maintenance.
* Exposure to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environments.
* Familiarity with clean room protocols and safety standards.
