Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmaceutical Technician for our 3rd Shift, which operates from Sunday to Wednesday, 9:00 pm to 7:30 am. Initial training will be conducted on the 1st Shift. This role plays a crucial part in operating production equipment, including non-sterile filling machines, packaging, and labeling machines. The position involves supplying materials, cleaning equipment, inspecting parts, and troubleshooting basic issues. Additionally, you may assist in providing training.

ResponsibilitiesOperate all assigned equipment appropriately, including setup, operation, and cleaning of equipment and parts.Confirm equipment configurations are correct and check for leaks or other abnormalities.Communicate any issues or problems immediately and complete operational documentation per SOP.Tag, palletize, and place all returned and rejected items as needed.Complete and review area production documentation, ensuring all entries are accurate, recorded in real-time, and signed as completed.Maintain open lines of communication with management, informing them of production updates, deviations, and corrective measures.Exchange work status information within the department, management, and co-workers.Maintain a clean environment/work area using appropriate cleaning solutions and prescribed methods.Ensure designated equipment/tools are cleaned and sanitized per established methods and schedules.Clean and sanitize required glassware by loading it into the washer and completing wash documentation per SOP.Handle raw materials and components according to prescribed methods and procedures.Maintain Aseptic Process Area sterile gowning qualifications.Respond to equipment alarms or malfunctions immediately by identifying alarm conditions and communicating them to subject matter experts.Assist co-workers in the production of finished products within the time limits outlined in SOPs and/or manufacturing instructions.Receive and ship all plant and scrub uniforms for cleaning.Receive and stock all garments and supplies for clean rooms and sterile core. Prepare garments for shipping and sterilization.Assist with special projects as required or requested.Promote a safe and harmonious work environment.Maintain compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and all company policies.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsAssociate or Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution.One or more years of previous work experience in a hospital or manufacturing environment, preferably in a clean room setting.Experience working in a production environment.Basic mechanical skills related to the operation of equipment.Knowledge and skill in operating various specialized equipment such as filling, washing, and sanitizing equipment.Knowledge of clean room procedures (preferred but not required).Knowledge of and compliance with GMP regulations (preferred but not required).Knowledge of general computer functions such as Microsoft Office programs and spreadsheets.Ability to handle several projects or tasks at the same time.Advanced problem safety sensitivity and the ability to recognize potential safety issues.Time management skills for personal and team tasks.Attention to detail and focus on quality, accuracy, sterility, and aseptic technique.Effective communication skills with coworkers, management, and other individuals.Mathematical skills with an understanding of measurements and conversions.Ability to recognize deviations from procedures and anomalies and communicate them immediately.Critical thinking skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality of all internal and external information and processes.Ability to follow personal hygiene standards/procedures according to SOP.Ability to wear protective attire as required and follow SOPs.Ability to follow all appropriate SOPs and safety procedures per company guidelines.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables where only limited standardization exists.Flexibility in work hours.Ability to provide motivational support.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in clean room filling preferred.Knowledge of clean room procedures preferred but not required.Knowledge of GMP regulations preferred but not required.Work Environment

This role will be primarily based in a clean room, lab, and production environment. The job requires wearing protective attire as per SOPs, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and following strict hygiene procedures. The position involves working during the 3rd shift with a shift premium provided. Initial training will be conducted during the 1st shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.60/hr.
