St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a
PRN Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team!
Shift:
The position is night shift, working 7 nights on/7 nights off. Weeks begin on Wednesday night working 10-hour shifts. Holidays are scheduled as they fall on the regularly scheduled shifts.
Job Description:
This pharmacist will be responsible for all medication verification/distribution and clinical activities. The successful candidate should have knowledge of automated medication distribution systems, USP797 and the ability to prepare intravenous medication utilizing aseptic technique. The candidate should also possess good communication skills, including the ability to interact successfully with other colleagues to ensure efficient and safe distribution of medications. Ability to promote teamwork is essential.
Job functions include, but not limited to: order verification, pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing, attending emergent responses to prepare medications and recommend dosing, clinical initiatives such as IV to PO interchanges, micorbiology culture review and recommendations, and providing drug information.

PharmD Diploma
PA Pharmacist License
PGY1 (preferred)
