About the job

We are currently seeking a Pharmacist needed for a fast-growing mail order pharmacy in North Salt Lake! This role involves responsibilities similar to those in a retail pharmacy, including pre-check (PB1), post-check (B2), and speaking with patients and providers. You will also manage state-to-state compliance as this is a mostly closed-door mail order facility. Unlike retail pharmacy, you will only work one weekend a quarter (8-12 shift), providing an excellent work-life balance with guaranteed breaks and lunches. Licenses in other states, particularly AZ or FL, are a plus.

Job Responsibilities

Interpret prescription orders and input them into the computer system.Advise patients and doctors about products, with approximately 75% of interactions involving providers.Check compounding formulas and update lot and expiration dates.Perform final checks on all prescriptions.Supervise technicians.Perform initial interpretation of prescriptions.

Licensed Pharmacist in UtahPharmD degreeOpen to new or recent grads with consistent, demonstrated work experienceCompounding experience is a plusRetail pharmacy experience is a plusExperience with non-sterile compounding is a plusLicensure in AZ or FL is nice to have
