The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Student Health Center’s pharmacy, supporting the health and well-being of NYU’s diverse student population. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive pharmacy services, including accurate prescription dispensing, personalized medication counseling, and developing and implementing health education initiatives. The pharmacist serves as a critical member of the healthcare team, contributing to the overall mission of the Student Health Center by promoting optimal health outcomes and enabling students to achieve academic and personal success. This position ensures compliance with state and federal regulations while addressing the unique healthcare needs of a campus community comprising approximately 50,000 students.
QualificationsRequired Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution
Required Experience:
1+ years of experience in a clinical, retail, or outpatient pharmacy setting. and 1+ years of relevant experience in a high-volume environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with database software preferably QS1. Proficiency in pharmacy management software and/or electronic health records (EHR). Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a diverse student population.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $116,100.00 to USD $141,900.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
