Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to oversee prescription dispensing personnel and operations during shifts. The role includes ensuring proper technique, accurate preparation, and compliance with applicable laws for all pharmaceutical products dispensed. The Pharmacist will perform final verification for non-sterile and sterile prescriptions, including proper packaging, assignment of beyond use dates, final inspection of finished products, and providing proper directions for use. Additionally, the role involves training, coaching, and counseling technicians performing non-sterile compounding, and participating in shipping and handling of prescription orders as needed. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.

This position operates within a closed-door specialty pharmacy that is temperature-controlled. The shift hours are from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The pharmacy is currently undergoing an expansion project, providing opportunities for internal growth and advancement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00
