Job Description
We are seeking an Audit Pharmacist to work 6 hours per week. The ideal candidate must hold both Kentucky and Ohio pharmacist licenses. This position is perfect for someone looking to gain more exposure in the pharmaceutical industry while maintaining another full-time job.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain all appropriate record keeping and licensing in compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.Review, update, and adhere to pharmacy protocols and procedures in compliance with all applicable regulatory agency regulations.Report prescription sample audit results and complete retrospective reviews as required by the Board of Pharmacy.Maintain an updated copy of all electronic reference materials, such as Drugs and Comparisons.Communicate issues to appropriate management.Participate in continuous improvement processes by providing input for procedural changes.Perform other duties related to pharmacy as assigned or as required by the Board of Pharmacy.Essential SkillsMust hold both Kentucky and Ohio pharmacist licenses.Experience in pharmacy, retail, hemodialysis, audit, and regulatory compliance.Additional Skills & QualificationsPharmacists with retail experience are highly preferred.Work Environment
The role is onsite and usually operates out of a Cardinal Health Facility, leasing space and using Cardinal to ship out supplies. This position offers flexibility and is great for someone with limited time who is seeking additional exposure in a large pharmaceutical industry.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00
