Pharmacist Job Opportunity

 

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our team! This is a contract-to-hire position with a competitive pay rate of $60/hour.

 

Job Summary:

As a Pharmacist with our team, you'll oversee pharmacy technicians, conduct comprehensive clinical reviews, counsel patients, and verify prescriptions. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

 

Responsibilities:

- Oversee pharmacy technicians and conduct comprehensive clinical reviews of pharmacotherapy for each patient

- Counsel patients on new drug therapies and document results in patient charts

- Coordinate patient care with referring clinicians and document services in progress notes

- Provide subcutaneous teaching support and coordinate nursing services as needed

- Process prescriptions accurately and timely, and verify discontinuation of service for each patient

- Implement clinical management models and act as primary intake for new team referrals

 

Requirements:

- Experience in retail or independent pharmacy is advantageous

- Ability to handle and rectify errors and missed metrics effectively

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Strict adherence to company policies and relevant laws and regulations

Work Environment:

- Onsite position located in Keller, TX

- Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST, with occasional

Saturdays (8-10 times a year) from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Pharmacists will be on the phone for most of the shift, counseling patients and verifying prescriptions

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00
