Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Pharmacist for their Mauston, WI location. Responsibilities: + The Pharmacist Staff Retail Pharmacy ensures medications are procured, prepared, dispensed, and administered safely and legally. + Proficient in pharmacy practice including but not limited to the following areas: + Retail dispensing + Home health aids + Performs other related prescription activities such as taking verbal prescriptions, filling of prescriptions, dispensing and verbal consultation. + Performs and/or supervises pharmaceutical compounding activities. + Provides clinical pharmacy services, including medical history collection, therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacokinetic dosing consultations, drug information and education. + Participates in and follows standards of departmental quality control and quality assurance programs. + Oversees inventory control activities such as monitoring inventory levels, ordering, receiving, stocking and shipping. + Supervises pharmacy interns and technicians. + Willingly follows and supports all policies and procedures required under Medicare Accreditation. + Input and process prescriptions + Correct prescriptions + Counsel patients + Administer vaccines. + Perform other related duties as needed. Requirements: + Required qualifications to effectively perform job. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. + Professional Pharmacy degree required.
