Job Title: Pharmacist - Eye Care Transition ProjectJob Description Join our team as a pharmacist working on an exciting new project. You will play a key role in transitioning patients from a discontinued eye care product to a new one. This is an onsite role that involves phone and computer work, ensuring a smooth transition for both physicians and patients. Responsibilities + Call physicians who have prescribed the discontinued eye care product to inform them about the new product and the need to transition patients. + Explain to physicians that the discontinued product has a substitute and assist in processing the prescription change. + Convert patient information into the system and update their prescriptions accordingly. + Coordinate with contracted pharmacies to fill the new eye care prescriptions. + Ensure all communications and transitions are handled efficiently and accurately. Essential Skills + Pharmacy experience + Data entry skills + Customer service experience + Prior authorization knowledge + Health care experience + Retail pharmacy experience + Call center experience + Pharmacy technician license + State of NJ Pharmacist License + PharmD + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Additional Skills & Qualifications + Open to new graduates + Tech-savvy with experience in Microsoft Office Work Environment This role is onsite, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be working primarily on phones and computers in a professional setting.
