Job Title: PharmacistJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. This role involves reviewing prescriptions, compounding medications, directing pharmacy employees, ensuring the accuracy of prescription orders, and providing medication counseling and advice. Responsibilities + Review prescriptions issued by physicians or other authorized prescribers to ensure accuracy and determine necessary formulas and ingredients. + Compound sterile and non-sterile medications using standard formulas and processes, such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients. + Direct other pharmacy employees engaged in mixing, packaging, labeling, and making changes to prescription orders. + Ensure the accuracy of prescription orders and the efficient fulfillment of orders. + Dispense medications and provide support and counsel to nursing facility staff on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications. + Advise physicians about medication therapy. The role requires standing for the entire period. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with the goal of permanent employment and includes a yearly 15% salary bonus based on performance. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
