This position is a PRN position. The employee could potentially cover days, evenings, overnights, and weekends to fit the needs of the department.
The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring safe practices of pharmacy operations, including review and interpretation of medication orders and patient records to determine appropriate therapy. The pharmacist will oversee the activities of pharmacy technicians and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinicians as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Duties include providing drug information, sterile and non-sterile compounding, documentation of pharmacist drug interventions, consulting on drug dosing, and overseeing the activities of pharmacy technicians. The pharmacist must be able to work independently.
Qualifications:
Successful completion of a PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
Active pharmacist license in Arkansas in good standing. (required upon hire)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical pharmacist experience
