Responsible for formulary support and guidance, formulary changes and drug substitutions, as well as review if high-cost claim and opioid use opportunities. + Provides support for the design of the health plan benefits related to pharmaceuticals to achieve health plan strategic goals and success in value-based care. + Develop drug product review and formulary recommendations by assessing drug use trends, new drug releases and review of primary literature. + Analyze pharmacy cost of care, trends, and coordinate the development of appropriate use protocols and guidelines. + Set criteria for medication analysis, coordinate reports to clients, meet regulatory reporting requirements for drug utilization review and fraud and abuse reporting. + Develop clinical criteria for review of non-formulary or non-preferred drug lists medications and communicate recommendations to clients and develop and review guideline criteria for prior authorization and non-formulary drugs in support of Pharmacy Oversight Committee function and pharmacy benefit design. **Minimum Qualifications:** Education + Bachelors Degree - Pharmacy **Credentials:** + Pharmacist - State of Florida; Preferred - ASHP (Pharmacists) **Experience:** + 3 years - Managed Care **Facility:** BayCare Health System, Utilization Management-BHS **Location:** **Park Place** **Status:** **Part Time, Exempt: No, 40 hours per pay period** **Shift Hours** **: Evenings and weekends, Flexible Monday -Sunday** **Weekend Work:** **Every Other** **On Call:** **No** **How often will this team member be working remotely?** Hybrid Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled **Position** Pharmacist - Health Plan **Location** Clearwater:Park Place | Clinical | Part Time **Req ID** null
