Job Title: Pharmacist
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented pharmacist with expertise in independent pharmacy operations and revenue generation. Responsibilities include managing acquisition, protection, and revenue generation for the pharmacy, understanding audit threats, and meeting documentation requirements. The role involves handling inventory, negotiating with wholesalers, and collaborating with doctors to develop therapeutic options that benefit both patients and the pharmacy. You will oversee daily pharmacy operations, analyze data trends, and recommend therapeutic changes. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with doctors, staff, and patients. Basic compounding is required, but no sterile compounding. Additionally, you will handle insurance prior authorizations and reenter insurance coding.
