Pharmacist Intern

Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator, or the Director of Pharmacy this position performs the functions of a pharmacist under the supervision of a pharmacist, the Clinical coordinator, or the Director. This includes, but is not limited to IV admixtures, unit dose drug distribution, compounding, clinical intervention program, pharmacokinetic program, formulary management, patient education, and involvement in other clinical activity programs to ensure appropriate and safe medication use.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Pre-Pharmacy requirements. within 30 days of hire: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization. upon hire: California Pharmacist Intern License. Or upon hire: California Pharmacist Registered.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year Acute care experience.
