Summary
Pharmacy Intern is in advanced training prior to licensure as a registered pharmacist. Requirements outlined in Florida Statute 64B16-26.401 will be followed. As such the Intern will perform the work of a pharmacist, under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, including but not limited to the processing of prescriptions, compounding and distribution of pharmaceutical preparations, consulting concerning safety and efficacy of medication, monitoring patient therapy, assisting the patient with management of their therapy, keeping records and making reports required by law, and processing of documents required by the hospital.
