Pharmacist - Overnight
Job Title: Overnight Pharmacist I Job Description: The Overnight Pharmacist I will compound and dispense medications. This role involves working in a clean room and may involve occupational exposure to radiation. The Overnight Pharmacist will perform media fills, draw doses, answer phone calls, enter orders, and review batch records. Reporting into Network Operations, this role is instrumental to the Quality Assurance Program and will work closely with the QA division at the site-level. Essential duties include compliance with various pharmacy regulations, maintaining cGMP control, ensuring aseptic operations, and providing on-the-floor QA oversight. The role also involves training and supervising pharmacy technicians, attending meetings, and providing quality customer service. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations + Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals + Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions or complaints from groups of managers, clients, customers, the public, or regulatory agencies + Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions + Strong management and interpersonal skills + Proficient in all MS Office applications + Proficiency in Pinestar or other pharmacy applications preferred + Ability to be detail-oriented, responsible, dependable, patient, organized, professional, and work in a team environment + Ability to work various shifts and weekends + Ability to communicate professionally with colleagues and customers + Ability to lift ~50lbs + Up to 10% travel + Need AU or ANP authorized user for radiation within 6 months + Must be NJ licensed within 6 months into the role + 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacist (Retail or Compounding is ideal) + B.S. or Pharm.D. from an accredited pharmacy school + Compounding experience required About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
