The role you’ll contribute:

Implement medication use activity and clinical services designed by the Director or designee and implement cost containment measures involving drug utilization in the hospital. Ensure accurate and appropriate dispensing of medications, accurate documentation, provides accurate and complete drug information and provide staff and physician education as appropriate.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

Interprets, evaluates, and monitors patient medication orders in a timely manner with a conscientious degree of accuracy and care using the patient medical record and / or pharmacy profile.

Evaluates all orders for appropriateness and safety.

Works with physicians and departments to ensure quality.

Participates in emergency alerts to ensure adequate drug supply and appropriate drug use.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

High School Diploma or GED.

B.S. or Pharm.D degree.

PHARM licensed in Colorado.
