Job Overview:

The Infusion Center/Oncology pharmacist is responsible for providing comprehensive medication management to patients with both cancer and non-cancer diagnoses that are being treated in the outpatient infusion center; including but not limited to reviewing chemotherapy orders, preparing complex drug regimens, monitoring for side effects, educating patients on their treatment.

Qualifications:

Required:

PharmD DegreeExperience in and knowledge of chemotherapy agents and NCCN guidelines required.Familiarity with Federal and State laws regulating professional and hospital practice of Pharmacy. Must be computer literate with working knowledge of reporting tools in addition to proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Effective oral and written communication skills are a must.

Preferred:

Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) strongly preferred.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

Registration in New Jersey as a Pharmacist, New Jersey licensure required

$58.39 to $ 67.08 Hourly Rate
