The Pharmacy Practice Residency is a one-year post-graduate residency program in an institutional practice setting that provides training as set forth and approved by the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP). The program will provide the opportunity to advance the resident's pharmacy practice beyond entry-level professional competence and develop the skills, knowledge, and attitude necessary for the provision of high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Candidates applying for the Pharmacist Resident position will be required to submit supplemental documents for review by the Mission Hospital Pharmacy PGY-1 Residency Program. Preferred Qualifications:

PharmD Experience in hospital pharmacy practices as a student, intern, or pharmacist. Demonstrated computer literacy Demonstrated drug knowledge, IV knowledge, and compounding ability
