JOB PURPOSE

 

The Pharmacovigilance Officer (PVO) (all genders) position belongs to the local Pharmacovigilance (PV) department. The PVO (all genders) contributes to assure patients’ safety by complying with all PV Quality System Documents (QSDs) and local and international regulatory requirements. The main purpose of the position is to ensure that Bayer Pharmacovigilance (PV) standards are met by performing and bringing expertise in case management, PV process management as well as PV local safety management activities.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Handle AE/PTC cases: receipt, transfer, follow-up, and submission to health authorities.Reconcile cases with internal and external partners.Liaise with Local Quality Representative for AE reports related to Product Technical Complaints.Oversee local PV processes and compliance.Monitor local PV regulations and manage QSD.Assist with CAPA management, audits, inspections, and contract management.Prepare and conduct PV training.Conduct local literature searches and routine PV system testing.Handle local safety topics and generate aggregate reports.Participate in local safety issue management and Risk Management Plan activities.Provide safety input for clinical, medical, and commercial projects.

 

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

Life science graduateExperience in pharmacovigilance activities (ideally 2 or more years)Good knowledge of medical terminologyDetail-minded and task-oriented personAbility to adhere to proceduresAbility to communicate orally and in writing in the local languages and EnglishExcellent administrative skillsGood computer knowledgeStrong sense of responsibility and conscientiousnessPriority setting and organizingStress resistance and ability to comply with strict deadlines

 

This position is part-time (50%).
