Pharmacy Analyst I

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Interface with other corporate line of business through problem resolution while demonstrating a high knowledge level of pharmacy benefits, policies, , including claim processing rules and clinical programsCollaborate with internal resources, external partners/vendors to support the identification/prioritization of pharmacy solutions to drive problem resolution and prevent medication and regulatory compliance risksCreate internal processes that improve workflow efficiency, identify opportunities and lead in the development of recommendations and develop resources to efficiently and effectively fulfill pharmacy clinical and quality initiativesDevelop, document, and maintain processes and procedures for day-to-day management of pharmacy 

Job Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent work experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience.. 

Experience

2 years of experience in a health care driven industry required2 years of experience in a related field such as operations, technical, project management, product or other related field required

Skills/Certifications

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsMust be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projectsDemonstrated project management skillsPossess strong analytical, technical, and decision making skillsAbility to meet schedule deadlines and departmental goalsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles, and accountabilityMust possess ability to maintain professional relationship with vendors and other external partners
