Why this role is important?

What you’ll do:

Answer and triage phone calls throughout the day.Retrieve faxed or electronic prescriber’s orders, prescriptions or prescription refill requests.Process medication refills on the pharmacy management software (Kroll). Perform outbound calls to obtain clarifications from clientsSort, file, and follow-up with pharmacy’s paperwork to ensure regulatory compliance.  Use the pharmacy management software (KROLL) to ensure relevant documents are printed and delivered to clients.  Coordinate with other pharmacies to mediate prescription transfers.Support other pharmacy teams, as required.

No experience required in PharmacyAbility to identify, analyze and quickly mediate problems and issues that arise· Excellent customer service skills and a professional and friendly attitude to quickly develop rapport with clients over the phoneAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with a passion for providing high quality client services and building relationshipsExcellent oral and written communication and teamwork skillsAbility to take initiative and able to learn independentlyHigh attention to detailStrong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks

To help you stand out, any or all the following are considered an asset:

An Undergraduate degree from an accredited university with a focus in the areas of science and/or healthcarePharmacy related diploma/certificateKroll software experiencePharmacy experience, with Long Term Care setting experience preferred
