Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision and accurately assists in the processing, filling and shipping of medication orders.

 

Job Summary:  Assist technicians and various support staff in the order fulfillment process.  Assist in inventory control and station replenishment. Responsibilities

Job Duties:

Pull drugs and match NDC to prescription labels when filling prescriptions Check and inspect incoming medication orders for accuracyResponsible to assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of each work station and the facilityResponsible for the proper and accurate filling of each individual orderContacts customers on outgoing express shipments and address verification Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisorResponsible to maintain quality assurances of all dispensings Assist other areas of the pharmacy as needed dailyMay assist in orienting and training new employeesResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications

Attendance Requirements:

Must be able to work nights and weekends as required Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts

 

Educational Requirements:

Minimum: High School Diploma or GEDPreferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field

 

Experience: 

Preferred hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred

 

Special Conditions of Employment:

Drug testInitial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoringAny and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Compensation:

 

 $15.00 - $15.46 an hour

 

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
