Pharmacy Business Analyst II

As a diversified, national organization, you’ll have access to competitive benefits including a fresh perspective on workplace flexibility. **Position Purpose:** With the Centene Pharmacy Services Quality team, you will oversee key analytics processes related to Pharmacy Quality clinical programs and Measure performance to support the Pharmacy CMS star ratings. + Support business initiatives through data analysis and identification of implementation barriers + Involvement in team dashboard development and enhancements + Facilitating vendor and internal program reporting + Identify ways to enhance performance management and operational reports related to new business implementation processes + Develop and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications + Lead problem solving and coordination efforts between various business units + Assist with formulating and updating departmental policies and procedures **Required Education/Experience** **:** Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. **2-4 years of business process or data analysis experience,** preferably in healthcare. **Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Excel** and Access preferred. Project management experience preferred. **Preferred Skills:** **Experience in Quality measures (Stars, QRS, HEDIS)** **Data analysis** – ability to query/sort data to deliver key information to the department manager for executive level updates. Ability to make some recommendations to drive Quality performance **Curious** – someone who understands the “why” in the data analysis requested but is also curious to dig deeper and bring insights **Ability to work in cross-department partnerships** (IT, Pharmacy Analytics) Pay Range: $54,000.00 - $97,100.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
