OverviewData entry position in a fast-paced call center environment, supporting customers of national closed-door pharmacy supporting senior living, assisting living, group home, hospitals, rehab facilities, and other Med D / Med A institutions. Primary duties include answering inbound calls, evaluating medication order / delivery issues, and facility calls. You will provide proper resolutions by using resource and national board of pharmacy protocols, respond to the needs of customers, processing orders using AS400 and Docutrack.
Responsibilities Supports incoming calls for medication order entry in a contact center environment for PharMerica pharmacies afterhoursProcesses incoming medication requests for new or refill medicationsFiles documentation as required by pharmacy regulationsFollows state board of pharmacy rules / regulationsResponds to customer inquiries and provide timely response to ensure resolutionResearches medication status requests using AS400Ability to review and interpret pharmacy notes in AS400 & Docutrack to take appropriate action QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician License, Required - active.
• Previous pharmacy experience required. Minimum 1 year.
• Previous call center experience preferred – minimum 1 year.

• Computer and MS Office software knowledge.

**To perform the duties of this position will require sitting,standing and walking, and typing on a keyboard with fingers and occasionally bending and reaching. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 21-30 lbs**
