$96.369 - $124.347 - $152.325The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
This role will be responsible for strategic oversight for Pharmacy operations for the Sharp Metropolitan Medical Campus - Sharp Memorial Hospital, Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns, Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital, and Sharp Metro Retail Pharmacy.
The Director role will be working with the Pharmacy leadership team (6 PICs) to ensure that clinical practices meet patient care standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic guidance for upcoming projects and initiatives.

Determine direction, goals, and objective of assigned areas and ensures implementation of strategic and operating plans. Directs the development of short and long range plans and budgets.Develops and recommends overall organizational policies and objectives within functional area, and ensures their implementation.Supervises and regularly interacts with pharmacy staff to assess staffing needs, performance, motivation, hiring, coaching, and counseling and assures performance appraisals completed. Develops and monitors productivity standards to assure compliance with achieving stated goals.Ensures organizational compliance with legislation and regulations as they impact assigned areas. Assures compliance with Federal, State, Regulatory and Safety requirements and assumes lead responsibility for Joint Commission preparation and compliance.Overall operations management inclusive of responsibilities in cost management, quality of services delivered, employee and resource management and total care delivery.Achieves financial outcomes and targets goals for system efficiency.Coordinates interdepartmental projects to assure quality outcomes.Collaborates with System Director, Managers, Senior Specialists to standardize, update and/or maintain policies and procedures for multiple sites.Relocation - This position is eligible for a $5000 relocation bonus for qualified External Candidates.
