Pharmacy Infusion Technician II
**Responsibilities** Assists the Infusion Pharmacist in the preparation of medication ordered as permitted by state law. Maintains good customer service by processing, compounding, and delivering medication in a timely manner. Responsible for ordering and inventory on medical supplies and medications. Other duties include ordering medication and stocking inventory, processing clinic medication requisitions, maintaining accurate records and other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist. **Job Title: Pharmacy Infusion Technician II** **Location: Fort Bend Campus** **Department:** **Infusion-Pharmacy** **Job Type: Full Time** **Salary Range: $** **54,186 - $66,936 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)** **Qualifications** **Education** Required: High School diploma /GED and completion of Tech Training Program including Sterile Product course Preferred: N/A **Experience** Required: Minimum 6 years pharmacy experience, 5 years in pharmacy admixture Preferred: HMO’s and 3rd party managed care experience **License(s)** Required: ACPE Pharmacy Sterile Products Certification/Must be IV Certified. PTCB certified. TSBP registered. Preferred: N/A **Communication** Required: To read merchandise labels and invoices; to ask and answer questions over the phone; to write information on prescriptions. Able to handle complaints and problems. Preferred: Know when to refer questions, problems, and complaints to a pharmacist. **Special Skills** Required: Able to operate computer software to process prescriptions. Possesses sufficient computer processing knowledge to place and manage drug orders. Compounding Sterile Products. Must have order entry, purchasing and inventory management experience with medications and supplies Preferred: Compounding Chemotherapy **Other** Required: Stress Tolerance- Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Physical stamina- to work in a fast-paced environment, and ambulate within the pharmacy.
