Corwell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed hospital that is a recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers specialty services including 24-hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology, including advanced CT w/cardiac scoring, Fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK & elastography).
Scope of WorkUnder the direction and supervision of a Pharmacist, performs a variety of functions related to preparation, storage and distribution of medication within the health system. The student will perform higher levels of professional support as they advance through pharmacy school. Embraces the goals/objectives encompassing Pharmaceutical activities for the Corewell Healthcare System. Promotes team efforts to manage and achieve departmental/corporate objectives. Demonstrates good judgment and decisiveness throughout daily activities and personal commitment to professional growth.
