Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital located in Milford, Mass. and serves patients from more than 20 towns in Central Massachusetts. Statement of Purpose:
Pharmacy Interns assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, researching medication information, maintaining the drug inventory and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy Interns work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Currently enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy school program or a graduate of a foreign pharmacy school actively working towards a Pharmacist Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, minimum age of 18 years old.
Certification / License: Registration with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern with an active license in good standing.
Experience: 6 months of work experience in healthcare preferred
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
