Position Summary:

Omnicare, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of CVS Health Corporation.

Directly, and through our subsidiaries, Omnicare provides a broad array of pharmacy-related services to long term care facilities and to other customers in the healthcare environment. While senior care has long been an Omnicare specialty, we also serve other targeted populations.

As a pharmacy intern for our Long Term Care Pharmacy you will work in an exciting, dynamic and fast paced environment, ensuring the continuation of pharmacy management's goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy. Omnicare Pharmacist provide routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers.

The Pharmacy Intern is an integral member of the pharmacy team. Your success will be driven by your ability to lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and service. The most successful pharmacy interns demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to prioritize the workflow.

This is a part time position with a flexible schedule. The pharmacy schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-10pm and weekends 8am-6pm.

Required Qualifications:Active Pharmacy Intern License in the state in which you are employedNot on the DEA Excluded Parties ListNo pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substancesPreferred Qualifications:

Long Term Care pharmacy experience

Education:

Current enrollment in a US School of Pharmacy

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:


 

$16.00 - $23.56
