Pharmacy Student Intern
The Pharmacy Student Intern assists with the preparation and dispensing of medications for patients served by Broadlawns Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy. All duties are performed under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Outpatient Pharmacy Hours of Operation:
Pharmacy Student Interns are asked primarily for availability to work on Saturdays in a rotating schedule. Availability of hours M-F are variable and are dependent on the needs of the pharmacy department. Additional hours may be available to student interns who are able to work in or willing to train in the Inpatient Pharmacy.
Qualifications
Enrollment in an accredited college of pharmacy during the school year.Current registration and licensure as a Pharmacist-Intern with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy.Successful completion of the college year preceding the level of the position held.Student must be able to work a flexible schedule and will be required to work some evenings, weekends and holidays. Student should be able to work part-time during the school year and up to 40 hours per week during summer vacation.
