This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and providing exceptional service to our patients.
ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy.Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.Supervise and train pharmacy staff.Maintain accurate records of all prescriptions and controlled substances.Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.Handle data entry and claims adjudication.Facilitate prior authorization and patient financial assistance requests.Utilize multiple software applications proficiently.Provide leadership and direction to the pharmacy team.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.Essential SkillsActive and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Nevada.Minimum of three years (6000 hours) of experience in a pharmacy setting related to dispensing, distribution, and recordkeeping of prescription drugs.Doctoral degree in Pharmacy (PharmD).Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.Proficient in using multiple software applications.Experience in data entry and claims adjudication.Understanding of facilitating prior authorization and patient financial assistance requests.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in or with medical practices.Advanced training in disease management.Experience with physician groups.Leadership experience.Specialty pharmacy experience.Bilingual skills.Experience with AAHIVP certification and 340B programs.Additional licenses in AZ, FL, SC, or VA are a plus.Work Environment
