About the role:The Pharmacy Operations Program Manager is responsible for providing corporate oversight and support for operations of our onsite pharmacies and related products and services. They support the implementation and operations of onsite and nearsite pharmacies. The individual is responsible for maintaining positive and collaborative working relationships between onsite pharmacy teams, local Walgreens support infrastructure, Premise Health Pharmacy Services team, Premise Health operations team, and other internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the individual supports administrative functions of the Pharmacy Services team and completes other projects and assignments as identified by Pharmacy Services.
Essential Functions:
Oversees pharmacy operational escalations, including (but not limited to) HR matters, IT malfunctions, scheduling support, training, customization requests, and other matters related to operational excellence.Supports operational excellence by providing pharmacy teams with performance expectations, divisional goal metrics and communicates improvement opportunities.Partners with Pharmacy Directors and Directors of Client Operations with holding team members accountable to the employer solutions group's long-range targets, initiatives, and strategies.Supports site teams and Directors of Client Operations with navigating ticket process for ad-hoc report creationAssists implementation team and participates on internal and external calls to ensure implementation deliverables are metProvides orientation and training of new pharmacy team members, as neededDirects business intelligence, client billing, and client reporting for new clients for revenue collection and metric reporting.Supports professional development opportunities for field TMs such as technician engagement committee, or others as identifiedLeads communications associated with best practices across all worksite pharmacies.Provides administrative support for all members of the Pharmacy Services team; including but not limited to, helping to schedule meetings, complete and submit expense reports, approve timecards, and other administrative functions.Perform research, project, or other assignments as designated by members of the Pharmacy Services team.Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GEDLicensed pharmacy technician5+ years' experience in retail pharmacy with a focus/interest in the employer health segment.At least 5 years of experience in indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training and assignment of work/projects to other team members.Extensive knowledge and familiarity with pharmacy operational systems and processesPreferred Experience:
Ability to diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex pharmacy benefit issues.Can collaborate with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet both client and divisional goals within budget(s) and established timelines.Can provide customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Demonstrating exemplary leadership qualities, including the ability to present information internally or externally to stakeholders.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Work-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed. For individuals living in California, Colorado, Washington; as well as, for individuals living in or reporting to New York State only, Premise Health is required to include an estimate of the salary and benefits for this role. While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California, Colorado, Washington, and New York compensation is $50,000 - $60,000.
