The Program Manager, Medication Safety coordinates all medication safety activities within the organization and works collaboratively to develop and implement interdisciplinary error-prevention strategies that focus on system design to effectively reduce the risk of medication errors. Reviews medication-related safety event and adverse drug reaction reports to identify potential system improvements and educational needs. Proactively monitors external sources (e.g., Institute for Safety Medication Practices Safety Alerts and Joint Commission Sentinel Event Alerts) to identify nationally recognized medication safety best practices for evaluation and implementation.

Required qualifications:
