Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The post-graduate year 1 (PGY-1) pharmacy residency is a one year period of transition from a student to independent practitioner.  The residency experience is designed to accelerate approximately 3 years of experience into one residency year.  In addition to the other functions listed below, the resident is expected to achieve at least 80% of the goals of the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program and achieve satisfactory progress on any remaining goals.  The objectives are related to the required six outcomes associated with the PGY1 residency standard.  Upon completion of Lancaster General Health’s PGY-1 residency program, the resident will be a confident, multi-faceted, acute care pharmacist prepared for independent practice, advanced trainin
