POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Supervisor, the Eagle Shipping Clerk is responsible for packing and shipping prescriptions according to client specifications and is responsible for other duties assigned.

Responsibilities Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions.Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for Eagle Pharmacy in a timely manner.Responsible for stocking freezers with gel packs.Follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order.Respect and follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirementsResponsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work site.Responsible for keeping an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at shipping station.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of one year pharmacy experience preferredAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Location of job activities 100% insideMust be available for evenings and weekend shifts if neededNoise and / or vibrations exposureReaching (overhead), and handlingHand-eye coordination and manual dexteritySufficient to operate standard office equipmentStand, bend, and sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computerLift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds
