SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor for its client in Peridot, AZ. The individual will be responsible for managing pharmacy operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care and compliance with regulatory standards. The Pharmacy Supervisor will lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes patient safety and effective medication management. A valid Arizona Pharmacy license is required for this role, along with BLS (Basic Life Support) certification within 30 days of hire.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Supervise daily pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
· Track and manage operational and financial performance metrics, integrating them into quality improvement initiatives.
· Implement and review departmental policies and procedures for efficient service delivery.
· Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of services.
· Lead and develop a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring a collaborative and high-performing environment.
· Oversee pharmacy information systems, ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency.
· Manage inventory and purchasing to ensure timely and cost-effective access to pharmaceuticals.
· Coordinate staff training and development to promote professional growth.
· Prepare operational reports, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
· Participate in training and quality assurance programs to maintain high service standards.
· Monitor and analyze medication errors and adverse drug reactions, implementing corrective actions as needed.
· Provide exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers, addressing inquiries and resolving medication-related issues.
· Educate patients on medication use, side effects, and safety considerations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
· Active pharmacy license in Arizona.
· Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in pharmacy management software and electronic health record systems.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
· Knowledge of inventory management, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy financial management.
