ResponsibilitiesSt. Joseph Medical Center is looking for a Pharmacy Supervisor to join our pharmacy team! The Pharmacy Supervisor in conjunction with the Director of Pharmacy, is responsible for the coordination and control of inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services throughout the hospital. The responsibilities of the Pharmacy Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
maintenance of the policies and procedures that assure safe administration, control, storage and use of medications throughout the hospitalmay serve as fulltime PIC (Pharmacy Manager) or acting PIC in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, and is responsible for management of the pharmacy stafffinancial decisions including inventory control and the budgeting processinteractions with physicians and other departments concerning quality of care and educationensuring that all licensing criteria are met and up to dateattend administrative meetings related to regulatory affairsimplement/change operations based onsState and federal regulations, and any other functions concerned with patient care and operations of the pharmacy consistent with policies and procedures of the hospital and state and federal lawsserve as the Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist in Charge for the outpatient pharmacyparticipate as a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committeeenjoy team camaraderie!
