Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medicationsMaintain accurate patient records and medication historiesManage inventory and ensure the proper storage of medicationsProvide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providersPerform routine pharmacy tasks, including labeling and packaging medicationsAdhere to all safety regulations and pharmacy procedures

Qualifications:

Certificate of completion from a formal pharmacy technician program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), a formal pharmacy technician program (i.e., technical, hospital, or retail-based program), or a formal medical services training program of the United States MilitaryAt least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician after graduationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentCurrent certification or licensure as required by state regulations
