Responsibilities The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations. Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality. Does related work, as required. Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications. Qualifications Job Requirements: High school graduate or GED Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy (must be attained within 90 days of employment) Preferred Requirements: National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT). 2+ year’s previous hospital pharmacy technician experience (inclusive of training programs).
