Responsibilities Under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, and nonclinical aspects of preparing medications for dispending and assist in pharmacy operations. Restock and pharmacy with inventory from orders and medications received from returns from the floor or automated dispensing machines. Ensure all expired, damaged, or compromised medication in a pharmacy, automated machines, and floor stock are removed and segregated from active inventory. Maintain documentation of activities and file records. Assist in training newly hired pharmacy technicians. Prepare sterile intravenous admixtures aseptically and by USP 797/800 and State Board of Pharmacy Regulations. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School diploma or GED. Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy. Preferred Job Requirements: 1 year previous hospital pharmacy technician experience. National Certification (CPhT) Current Basic Life Support certification
