Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Filling and distributing medications accurately. Assisting with inventory control and stocking pharmaceuticals. Handling telephone calls and assisting at the pharmacy window. Ensuring a clean and organized workspace. Using the hospital's computer system for communication and documentation. Maintaining proper records and adhering to safety guidelines. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy or Pharmacist-In-Charge.Essential Skill Competencies:
Ability to process medication orders. Maintaining medication stock and contributing to the pharmacy's operation. Ability to handle interruptions and adapt to changing work conditions. Strong organizational skills and performance standards.Educational/Regulatory Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; college courses preferred. Registration with the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy. Valid driver's license.Physical Demands:
Lifting, carrying, and occasional climbing. Ability to work in various physical conditions such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs.Work Schedule:
