Responsibilities The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical and non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations. Can participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality. Does related work, as required. Maintain competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School graduate or GED. 2+ years of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience. Completion of sterile compounding training/competency. Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy. National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT). Current BLS.
